International Women’s Day 2023

The Centre for Housing and Sustainable Development at the University of Lagos celebrates the contributions of women to Inclusive Urban Planning and Development in Africa.

In line with the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” for this year’s International Women’s Day, CHSD calls for increased access for women and girls to innovative technologies that make cities safe and productive for them in all sectors.

To embrace equity, the continuous improvement of city policies largely depends on innovative ideas, true inclusiveness, and a sense of belonging for all.
